Any cloth chalkmats can be washed in cold water with any gentle cleanser, and hang dry. Do not put the chalkmats in the washing machine. After you use it, roll it up and tie it.

Use high quality chalks, it does make a difference. Crayola chalks seem to work the best. Because the chalkmats are meant to be used anywhere at anytime, any napkin, kleenex, rag, or cloth can be used to wipe off. Damp paper towel seems to work the best.

Each Sam and Bellie chalkmat is packaged in a clear plastic tube so it makes gift giving that much easier.
