I used to boil the toothbrushes or use peroxide ( which takes forever to get the smell out) this is a simple and effective solution. I got one for the family and we take turns zapping our toothbrush attachment from the electronic toothbrush. LOVE it! The pod is super cute ( rather than having some medical looking device on the counter)
