These placemats by Chilewich are brilliant. They can be a substitute to the plate charger and giving the table setting a modern edge. The gunmetal finish can be mixed with silver or gold accents. I love the fact, it will match grandma's doily or my modern minimalist Kelvin Klein'isque place settings
